Words can not describe our adventure around Australia. The things we have seen, the people we have met and the lessons we have learned! Maybe EPIC can come close? When travelling Aus, I felt like we were a part of this exclusive club, only if you have traveled do you understand.
On these remote roads, rarely travelled, it was only us, the VAST lands of Australia, and an occasional fellow traveller.
We wave as we pass each other, maybe the last people we will see for a few hours.
I become enamoured by the passing landscape, the feeling of complete freedom and endless possibilities, but also the harshness of this land, and the feeling of awe and admiration for the people who have come before without the comforts and the luxuries of modern life.
It is incomprehensible, at once I feel both awestruck and melancholy at the same time.
Only we will have this experience, but we share it with our fellow travellers, who we do not know personally but who we feel connected to.
We were in it together, we share these roads these lands and these experiences.
These moments, these feelings will stay with us forever.
